Please join us for the first installment of “Talk Show” hosted by David Levine. The first of three events dedicated to exploring professions whose intricacies are often wondered at but rarely explored, “Talk Show” uses the typical broadcast format—interviewer, monologue, straight man, special guests—to explore the atypical topic of the world of work. Other variations on the form include: no actual broadcast, questions from the audience, and a straight man who mixes cocktails.

This first installment of “Talk Show” at Cabinet will feature:

Major League Soccer broadcast editor Simon Scher
Colleen Werthman on room escape games
Master perfumer Carlos Benaim

Each installment will also include:

A brand-new complimentary cocktail invented by Eben Klemm, straight man and master mixologist; a naming contest for said cocktail; and a ten-minute slide talk by a surprise guest.
