Launch event for issue 33, featuring "Specials" by Paul Ramirez Jonas & Lisa Sigal

Location: Cabinet, 300 Nevins Street, Brooklyn
Date: Wednesday, July 8 2009
Time: 7:00-10 pm
FREE. No RSVP necessary

The launch event for Cabinet issue 33 features "Specials," a collaboration between artists. Lisa Sigal and Paul Ramirez Jonas have created a moving taco stand and gallery. With each manifestation of this project, a new taco is created, and a new show is curated. In June, Specials made its debut with Anissa Mack's "Failure is Impossible," Robert Gober's "Untitled (whole pig)," and an avocado, kimchee, and lime taco. On July 8th, Specials will re-appear at Cabinet with a surrogate by artist Allan McCollum, a painting by Dave McKenzie, and a delicious new taco.
