Moyra Davey is an artist living in New York. She is the editor of Mother Reader: Essential Writings on Motherhood (Seven Stories Press, 2001), an anthology on maternal ambivalence and the intersection of motherhood and creative life, and the author of The Problem of Reading (Documents Books, 2003). She is a member of Orchard, a cooperative gallery on New York’s Lower East Side. Currently, she teaches in the Programme d’Études Critical Curatorial Cybermedia in Geneva.
